In May, at the Shotpouch Creek Cabin, a residency center in Oregon, which is part of Oregon State University, I began a new collaboration with my mother, Alison H. Deming. The work is ongoing, and consists of an artist/writer's journal of text and image. Alison's work can be seen at www.alisonhawthornedeming.com.
For over 7 years, sculptor Cynthia Atwood and I have enjoyed a collaborative drawing practice in which we've reinterpreted the Exquisite Corpse surrealist game. Cynthia's sculpture and paintings can be seen at www.cynthiaatwood.com.
In 2008, I was engaged in a collaborative installation project with Rebecca FitzPatrick. The resulting work, The Jellyfish Cave, was installed at the Sacred & Profane Festival, on Peaks Island, Maine, in November, 2008. Rebecca's work can be seen at www.rebeccafitzpatrick.com |
